Tourism entrepreneurs in Pokhara staged a sit-in at the district administration office on July 5 with placards with various slogans demanding vaccine against corona virus. The protest started with a rally from Ambot that turned into a sit-in in front of the gate of the District Administration Office at Sahid Chowk.
They submitted a memorandum to the CDO office focusing on the impact of Corona on the tourism business, role of life saving fund, banks and financial institutions and the role of the government. Entrepreneurs stated that about 30,000 vaccines are needed in the tourism sector of Pokhara.
