A clash broke out between the two sides of the Badi community, who came to hand over the memorandum, in front of the office of the Chief Minister and the Council of Ministers of the Far Western Province on July 11 after a dispute over government relief and program distribution.
The province government has allocated Rs 30 million for the citizens of the Badi community for the coming fiscal year. A team including Badi Upliftment Committee chairperson Rama Badi met Chief Minister Trilochan Bhatt and handed over a memorandum.
Citizens of the Badi community led by Mithu Badi had also reached outside the Chief Minister's Office. However, they alleged that they were not allowed to meet the Chief Minister. The clash took in front of the Chief Minister's Office after the Badi community led by Mithu Badi protested that the group led by Rama Badi had carried out various programs in the name of the citizens of the Badi community. They allege that Subash Badi embezzled Rs. 1.7 million. Police arrested Subhash Wadi after the woman assaulted him.
