A photo of Jipchiring Lama, the operator of the contractor company Lama-Parallel JV, was smeared black and hung on the side of muddy Beni-Darwang road in Myagdi in Beni Municipality-6 for delaying the construction. The photo is printed on Flex and it is still unknown who put that photo.
The road, which is expected to be completed in 18 months, will be widened in a period of about four years and drains and walls will be constructed. The office warned that the construction business, which has made only 55 per cent physical progress so far, would take legal action to seize the bail, fine and blacklist if it fails to work as soon as possible.
