National Unity Campaign (Rashtriya Ekata Abhiyan) burns the effigy of Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut in Janakpurdham on July 26 demanding the return of the Madrasa Education Bill brought by the state government. There was a scuffle between the police and protestors while burning the effigy.
The protest started from the front of the Chief Minister's Office and ended at Janak Chowk. During the protest rally, they demanded the resignation of the Chief Minister. Though the bill related to madrasa education was introduced in the state assembly in 2018 A.D. (2075 BS), the discussion on it has not started yet.
