The father of the victim lodged a complaint at the District Police Office on July 8 alleging that Raju Kumar Khang, a 20-year-old resident of Launiya in Tilathi Koiladi Rural Municipality-2 raped his 18-year-old daughter. It is alleged that the victim raped the victim on June 30 while she was going to cut grass in a field at Bishahariya in Rajbiraj Municipality-13. The accused is further alleged for taking the victim to Patna, Bihar, India on July 3 and keeping her there till July 6 with false promises of marriage
According to the victim, he accused forcibly brought her from Patna to the Kunauli border post near the village on July 8 and released her. After returning to the village from India on July 8, the victim and her family came to the INSEC representative's office. The victim's mother said that the police immediately took a statement from the victim and conducted a medical examination at Gajendra Narayan Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj.
