Dhiraj Kumar Yadav urged the INSEC representative on July 7 to take initiative for justice for his mother Balika Kumari Yadav, a 45-year-old resident of Agnisair Krishna Sawaran Rural Municipality-4, Tengri, who was assaulted on the charge of witchcraft allegations. According to the complaint lodged on July 5, the victim's 48-year-old sister-in-law Anju Devi Yadav, 23-year-old nephew Amarendra Kumar Yadav, 35-year-old brother-in-law Lal Kumar Yadav, 23-year-old sister-in-law Babita Devi Yadav and 18-year-old nephew Navin Kumar Yadav are accused of assaulting Balikumari alleging her of being involved in witchcraft practices on July 3. The accused Anju Devi and others beat the victim accusing her of the death of her husband and the illness of her daughter-in-law.
