Child development facilitators and school staff padlock the Purchaudi municipality and all 10 ward offices in Baitadi alleging the municipality for not increasing their salaries. Though the government of Nepal has announced to increase the salary of child development facilitators and school staff to Rs 15,000 through the budget speech, the municipality has not implemented it.
