Kathmandu: Youth association stage demonstration against the Darchula incident

Jai Singh Dhami, a 30-year-old resident of Byas Municipality-2 in Darchula went missing in the Mahakali river after an improvised cable crossing was reportedly dismantled by a member of India’s Sashastra Seema Bal on July 30. Following the incident, on August 1, the youth association staged a demonstration in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu with various slogans demanding immediate arrest and action against those involved in the incident.
