Dalit Janamat Association has staged a demonstration against the death of inmate Paltu Ravidas while under detention at District Police Office Dhanusha. Organizing the demonstration at Janakpur today afternoon, the association has demanded action against SP Prakash Ranabhat. They have also demanded an investigation into the incident and compensation to the family of the deceased inmate. Ravidas who was in police detention on the charge of Assault Case was found dead at the toilet of the detention center. His family believes that he was murdered.
