Locals of Lalbandi in Sarhali district have picketed the district forest office against the formation of the Community Forest Management group illegally. A  Community Forest Management group was formed on July 28 under the leadership of Ajay Yadav amid a program at Kalibas Municipality-7. The locals have resorted to protest saying that the group is comprised of people who come from outside and are not affected by the forest. A group of youths led by the chairperson of ward 6 Ujjwal Karki submitted a memorandum to the forest office.  They have demanded the scrapping of the group that was formed on July 28.
