MBBS students who returned from China during the Corona pandemic staged a sit-in at the Medical Education Commission on July 6 demanding an internship from Nepal. Stating that the Corona pandemic has created a compelling situation, they have been demanding the government to make arrangements to complete the internship from Nepal. They complained that the government of Nepal has ignored the suggestion of the concerned university where they have studied to do internships in their own country.

They even chanted slogans in front of the commission office carrying placards such as 'Fulfill our demands' and 'When is our internship?' Earlier on July 5 they had also staged a sit-in at the Nepal Medical Council.
