An investigation is underway after the death of a person who was under the custody of Barhabise Police in Sindhupalchowk. The deceased is identified as Khadga Bahadur Tamang, 35, of Barhabise Municipality-7. The deceased's family staged a protest in Barhabise Bazaar on August 8, alleging that he had died due to injury inflicted in police beating. They demanded to investigate the incident and take action against the culprits.

Chief Superintendent of Police Rajan Adhikari informed that the District Administration Office Sindhupalchowk is going to form an investigation committee after the protest.
