Police arrested 65-year-old Ram Kami of Machhapuchhre Rural Municipality-2 on August 10 on the charge of murdering his 55-year-old wife Shrimaya Kami. Police arrested Shri Ram after receiving information that Shrimaya had died while undergoing treatment after being seriously injured when she was hit on the head by a traditional grinder- "Lohora of Silauta" after consuming alcohol.
