District Police Parbat have arrested two persons on the charge of raping a teenage girl. According to the District Police Office, Parbat, police arrested the victim's father 44-year-old, and her 36-year-old uncle on the charge of raping the teenager.

The victim, a 16-year-old girl was raped by her father on April 15 and her uncle on July 7, according to police. According to Police Inspector Rajendra Adhikari, the two were arrested on the basis of a complaint lodged by the girl's brother against her father and uncle.

According to the official, the mother of the victim is mentally ill and her aunt does not live with her uncle.

The incident is being further investigated and a case has been registered in the district court against the accused, said the inspector. Details of the arrested and the victim's name and address have been kept secret.
