Child development facilitators and school staff padlocked the office of Patan municipality demanding an increase in their salaries. They said that the federal government had mentioned in the budget that the minimum salary of child development facilitators and school staff should be Rs 15,000 and the local government should add Rs 7,000.
According to Child Development Facilitator Anita Mahara, although the salaries of child development facilitators and school staff were initially increased, they were later cut down.
