Locals padlocked the office of ward 9 in Patan Municipality on Monday citing that they have not been paid for their service under the Prime Minister Employment Program. Karna Bahadur Bista, a local who was employed under the Prime Minister Employment Program stated that they padlocked the ward office after it hesitated to pay them even though the payment had already been issued.
