A girl, who was missing for the past three days in Sarlahi, has been found dead. Priyanka Bhujel, 16, from Ranijung in Lalbandi Municipality-17, was reported missing by her father on August 15. The Area Police Office said that the 16-year-old was found dead near Kalinjor Khola in Lalbandi Municipality-6, some three kilometres away from her house. DSP Madhav Prasad Budathoki said that the body was found in a decaying state. The girl’s body has been taken to Malgawa District Hospital for post-mortem after which the police will take the investigation forward.

It has been revealed that a teenage girl was found dead in Lalbandi of Sarlahi. Police arrested two persons on the charge of involvement in the murder. The arrested are Kisan Sah, 18, and Anish Dahal, 19, of Lalbandi Municipality-17. DSP Budhathoki informed that both of them had confessed to killing Priyanka and burying her body. "Both of them have admitted that they killed Priyanka and buried her body," said DSP Budathoki. "Efforts are being made to find the cause of the murder."
