Rights activist Savitri Subedi staged a silent protest in front of the Far-Western Chief Minister's Office demanding justice for Nirmala. She said that the government has been the main spectator of Nirmala's murder for a long time. Subedi protested in front of the Chief Minister's Office for some time with the placards of 'Give justice to Nirmala' and 'My body is my right'.She said that the government should make a law to hang the rapist and women will not remain silent until the law is made.
