The Chairperson of Siddhartha Community Forest- Fulbari, Krishna Giri is accused of giving death threats over a phone call to  Sudurpaschim Bureau Chief of Artha Sarokar  Sudarshan Shrestha, Cameraperson  Hari Tiwari and reporter of Fulbari Khabar Jhalak Dawadi  The news in Artha Sarokar covered news over an irregularity in the resources of the community forest accusing the chairperson of taking the Sal trunks to his house against the rule of community forest. It further pointed towards smuggling of Sal trunks with the involvement of Forest Sub Division office. The Chairperson called the journos, used abusive words, and warned that they could be physically harmed if they deny meeting him.  After the incident, Nepal Journalist Federation - Sudurpaschim Province and other journalist related organizations  issued a written statement in support of the journos also demanded the legal steps to be taken against the chairperson.
