Various political parties protested on September 6 demanding to start service at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan.CPN-UML, RPP-Nepal, Federal Limbuwan State Council and others staged a demonstration demanding the operation of OPD and other services of the foundation.
The BP Pratisthan Purification Campaign Joint Struggle Committee boycotted the OPD (outreach) service since September 5. The agitating doctors, students and staff stopped the OPD service saying that the six-point agreement reached by the Ministry of Health has not been implemented. But doctors have continued to examine some patients at the VC premises.
