A bench of District Court Judge Sakuntala Karki sentenced Deepak Pariyar, a 25-year-old resident of Kalika Municipality-7 to five months and six days in jail on the charge of sexually abusing a 13-year-old girl. According to the court's information officer Ishwor Acharya, the victim's relatives had lodged a complaint with the Area Police Office on March 26 alleging that Pariyar had sexually abused her on March 25. Police, then, arrested Pariyar on March 26.
