The family of teacher Karan Rana, who has been on a hunger strike at the District Coordination Committee Baitadi since September 5, has broken their strike after six days on September 10. Rana, a teacher of lower secondary level under relied quota in Ishwar Basic School in Dasharathchanda Municipality Ward No. 4 , went on hunger strike with his family (wife and four children) after not receiving 14 months salary, broke his fast after District Education Committee assured him of fulfilling his demands.
