The locals of the victim's side picketed the police office of Dhanusha Mukhiyapatti Mushariya rural municipality ward no-3, claiming the police, didn't lodge the complaint of the victim by taking the bribe from the accused. protesters chanted slogans against the superintendent of police Prakash Ranabhat demanding the proper investigation.
A dispute took place in Dhanusha Mukhiyapatti Mushariya rural municipality ward no-3 about 3 weeks ago when Mumtaz Rain's father was restricted to chant Namaz(Muslim religions' sacred book) and verbally abused by a 22-year-old, Mumtaz Ansari. The same dispute later turned into a clash injuring 3 from Rain's side and 1 from Ansari. The incident was attempted to resolved in the community. Locals claimed that though they appealed the police to assist them in this issue, the police was not cooperative with them.
