Police arrested 27-year-old Jagadish Dhami, a resident of Darchula Naugad rural municipality-5, rickshaw driver by occupation on the charge of raping a 13-year-old minor of Parshuram municipality-3. Police also arrested 23-year-old Ramesh Thagunna of Parsuram Municipality and a 25-year-old woman on the charge of their involvement in the rape incident.

According to the police, Jagdish Dhami raped the victim on September 18 with the help of two other accused. The woman accused is a relative of the victim, she allegedly called the victim to sleep with her and later helped the accused to rape her. Likewise, the victim was later tempted by 5,000 rupees not to disclose the rape case to others.
