The relatives of 11-month-old Krijan Khadka vandalized Advance Hospital in Damak on September 25, after the infant died in process of treatment. He was taken to hospital on September 24 after getting seriously ill with COVID and pneumonia. The Child Specialist Dr Anil Thapa looked after the case and sent the baby back home with medications after the Anti-gen report showed COVID positive.
The doctor also referred two syringes to jab on the infant at home. As per the relatives, the infant's condition worsened after getting the jab. The relative Saroj Khadka blamed the hospital for not admitting a serious patient. Meanwhile, the diagnosing doctor said that it was not possible for them to admit a corona infected patient. The relatives were furious with the hospital administration absconding the involved doctor charged stones at the hospital which shattered the glass panes. Police have arrested a few, who had pelted stones. The dead body of the infant is still in the hospital and relatives are denying to receive it without just investigation of the case.
