Locals burn the effigy of Chief Minister Lal Babu Raut in Birgunj over the dissatisfaction with the minister's decisions of the Madrasa Education Bill. The protestors stage demonstrations against the bill along with rallies and chanted pro-national slogans. The effigy was burned on the leadership of Rashtriya Ekata Abhiyan after the rally. The Central coordinator of the Rashtriya Ekata Abhiyan, Binay Yadav accused the minister of trying to turn province 2 into Taliban and turn Nepal into an Islamic secular country like Pakistan and others. Likewise, Yadav claimed that chief minister Lal bahadur Raut disrespected the Hindu nationals by hanging his pictures in different temples.
