Local-level employees stage a sit-in at the Ministry of Federal Affairs and General Administration at Singha Durbar on September 26 after their transfer was stopped due to the census collection. The employees stated that they started the sit-in as their transfer was postponed after blocking the application received a year ago. The employees even handed over a memorandum to Chief Secretary Shankar Das Bairagi. In the memorandum, it has been mentioned that the transfer of local level employees will not affect the census and demanded that the transfer work be taken forward.
