Members of the Dalit community staged demonstration in Rautahat demanding provision of Dalit accommodation along with submitting memorandum to the Chief District Officer demanding immediate arrangement of Dalit accommodation. The protestors demonstrated along with the musical instruments to District headquarters Gaur by highlighting the extensive irregularity of the Provincial and Federal government. Dalits claims that each year, the accommodation's budget that is worth millions has been freeze and that is why the poor and Dalits has to live the life as a lower class and marginalized .

The memorandum consists of issues like the management of the accomodation for the Dalit, the reservation in every level of government for the Dalit according to their population ratio, caste based discrimination's elimination and right to build accommodation should be implemented from constitutionals fundamental rights, taking action against the one who freeze the budged for Dalit accommodation, investigating the irregularity of the accommodation building and making payment etc.
