Aheb Hitesh Kumar Mandal, a health worker, was physically assaulted by Anil Pot, a local resident, while vaccinating against COVID-19 in Bhumlu rural municipality-8, at Dulaleshwor Secondary School. According to the written memorandum for the rural municipality, the victim demanded to take legal action against the accused who physically assaulted Hitesh Kumar Mandal and verbally abused other health workers. Likewise, Mandal personally demanded to take legal action against Pot who threatened to throw away the vaccine. According to Dhaka Ram Aryal, the Chief administrative officer of the municipality, the victims have demanded to arrest ward member Manoj Shrestha, who tore the record file and vaccine cards because he wanted to give vaccines to the people who do not belong in the target group.
