Rubi Kumari Safi, a 26-year-old woman, resident of Saptari Rajbiraj municipality-2, committed suicide in her own room on October 5, after facing constant domestic violence.  According to the neighbors, Safi, who used to work as a computer operator in Gajendra Singh Hospital in Rajbiraj, committed suicide because her mother-in-law and brother-in-law tried to take away her salary. Police speculate she might have committed suicide after not being able to tolerate the domestic quarrels.
