Followers of Saint Rampal Ji Maharaj staged a demonstration against animal sacrifice in Siraha headquarters. The demonstrators demanded to build a clean society, dowry and drug-free society. The demonstration was held at the district headquarters Siraha from Siraha Campus under the leadership of Purna Brahma Kavir Upasak Samaj Branch Office Mirchaiya. According to Harigovind Das, coordinator of the society, they demonstrated to bring social awakening along with the demand to stop the practice of sacrifice and to stop the increasing feticide, caste system and discrimination. The society also organized blood donation program.
