60-year-old woman brutally murdered over witchcraft allegations in Dhanusa

Police arrested Sanjay Kumar Jha, a 42-year-old local in Madai village of Mahottari Rural Municipality-3 of Mahottari district on the charge of murdering his 60-year-old sister-in-law Shila Devi Jha. Sanjay murdered Shila Devi, alleging that she was responsible for his wife's miscarriage by casting a spell on her. According to police, Shila Devi was attacked thrice with a hammer while she was sleeping at 3 am on October 14.
