Police arrested the 30 party cadres who were in the sit-in protest. Dhanusha Police Spokesperson and DSP Jitendra Basnet said that 10 people were arrested on the charge of abusing the office chief for investigation. He said that the protesters were called inside for discussion.

Janamat Party cadres, who reached the office on October 21 with sticks and bamboo sticks, took the acting office chief Rajeshwar Kushwaha under control and took him around Janakpurdham Sub-metropolis on foot.
