Two arrested on charge of human trafficking in Kaski

Police arrested 42-year-old Suresh Tamang of Birauta in Pokhara Metropolitan City-17 and 26-year-old Rishi Bhatt of Bara Kolbi Municipality-1 on October 25 on the charge of being involved in human trafficking and smuggling. Saying that they will employ the woman in Hotel Dreamland at Lakeside, Pokhara Metropolitan City-6, they forced her into prostitution by showing fear and intimidation. According to the District Police Office, Kaski, the woman was rescued from the spot and handed over to her relatives after a psychiatric consultation.
