Teachers and employees of community schools of the Kalyanpur municipality area of Siraha district have been agitated stating that they have not been given necessary facilities and allowances. They picketed the office of Kalyanpur Municipality on Monday. The irate protestors submitted a memorandum to the municipality earlier and have started an indefinite picketing program. The coordinator of the struggle committee formed to steer the protest stated that they were compelled to resort to protest as the municipality had failed to issue salaries of the employees working in community schools in Kalyannpur.
