Rudra Oli, SI, Police Border Security Station officers Babita Chaudhary, Gopichan Rai, and Jitman Chaudhary were physically assaulted by Indian women smugglers, while smugglers were stopped from smuggling goats across the Nepal-India open border. When police received a tip about smuggling goods through a secret way, SI Oli claimed they attempted to take control of the smugglers but were assaulted by them. According to the police, officers Gopichan and Jitman went to stop the smuggling, and when the women smugglers assaulted them, Si Oli and Babita arrived as backup.
