The employees of the local development training academy council at Jawalakhel in Lalitpur padlocked the office of the executive director on November 8 demanding the resignation of the executive director Pith Kumar Shrestha. The employees said that they have been forced to padlock the national level training centre demanding the proper management of the employees and due to the lack of institutional strengthening of the organization. They also accused the executive director of not being interested in the matter despite repeatedly informing him about it. The employees have stated that they have discussed the 22-point demand with the executive director but the demand has not been addressed.
The employees have demanded that the executive director should resign as he has lost the trust of the employees. They said that the current executive director will not be allowed to enter the office completely unless he promises to give efficient leadership in writing.
