Karnali, Nov 9: A seven-year-old girl from Dhapkhark of Lekbensi Municipality-1 in Surkhet was found murdered. Police found the dead in a condition of a slit throat. Lekbensi Area Police Office informed that the seven-year-old daughter of local Gagan Bahadur Sunar was found dead 500 meters away from home, said Spokesperson at Karnali Province Police Office, Madhav Prasad Shrestha.
The girl had left home for a local grocery at 10:00 am Sunday. As she did not return home from a nearby grocery for a long time, the family informed the police at 9:00 am Monday. Immediately after receiving the information, a police team led by Inspector Chakra Bahadur Deuba had begun to search for the missing girl. The team found the girl dead with her throat slit 500 meters away from the home.
The investigation bureau of Karnali Province Police including Deputy Superintendent of Police at District Police Office, Surkhet, Padam Bahadur Bista, has been investigating the murder.

Police arrested Santosh Sunar,21, Bikram Sunar,19, and Praksah Sunar,15 of Lekbeshi Dhapkharka municipality-1, Dhapkharka on September 9, on the charge of rape and murder of Manusha Sunar, a 7-year-old girl.
