Police arrested a youth from Rukum East on the charge of raping a 16-year-old girl in a forest. A case of rape was registered against Sanjay Nath, 24, of Sisne Rural Municipality Ward No. 8. Nath is a journalist by profession. He is accused of taking the girl to the forest and raping her on November 1. An FIR was lodged against him on November 2. He was arrested and further investigation is underway, police said. Police are preparing to investigate against Nath by extending the term from the court.
