A group carrying scales staged a protest at Maitighar Mandala in Kathmandu on November 12 demanding the opening of the court. At a time when legal practitioners were trying to stop Chief Justice Cholendra Shamsher Rana from entering the office, a group called Hundred Group staged a protest saying that the people's right to justice was restricted. Demanding the resignation of Chief Justice Rana, the judges of the Supreme Court have been boycotting the sittings while the legal practitioners have been staging agitations.
