Human rights and peace society staged a demonstration demanding the resignation of chief justice Cholendra Samsher Jabara in Chitwan, Pulchowk on November 13. The demonstrators displayed placards against the justice system of Nepal and for the resignation of the chief justice.

Dozens of activists including the founding president of the society Krishna Pahadi, central president Govind Khanal, founding members Krishna Kandel and Lila Khanal, senior vice president Sushil Basnet, vice presidents Krishna Bahadur Rawal and Ratna Laxmi Shrestha, general secretary Ram Krishna Baral and Chitwan branch president Shambhu Raut participated in the demonstration.
