Chand led CPN (Biplav) cadres stage a demonstration in Mugu against the price hike of petroleum products and demanded immediate withdrawal of the hike in prices. The demonstrators chanted slogans against the corruption as well. During the protest in Gamgadhi, CPN-District Office Secretary Sarpu Rokaya said that they were protesting against the government's decision to increase the prices of petroleum products and food items.
