Nepal Communist Party led by Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplab' demonstrated at Hetauda against the hiked petroleum price in the country. The demonstration was organized as a part of a nationwide strike called by the Biplab group to repeal the increment in fuel prices. The party cadres chanted slogans to repeal the increment in the price of petroleum products.
Like other places, the livelihood of Makwanpur is also affected due to the strike. Private vehicles are commuting generally, whereas the market and educational institutions are shut down.
