Police arrested Mahendra Kuman, a 19-year-old youth of Byas municipality-6 Eklegaun, on November 18, on the charge of murdering Menna Kumal, a 65-year-old woman of Gorkha district, Palungtar municipality-7, currently living n Byas municipality-6 Sisghat. 

According to the police, the accused murdered the homeless victim on November 16, under the influence of alcohol, when the accused tried to assault the victim on the way, the victim screamed and the accused murdered her by striking her with a stone. And the accused confessed his involvement on the incident after his cap was found in the scene.
