CPN led by Netra Bikram Chand 'Biplav', picketed Nepal Oil Corporation on November 22 demanding immediate withdrawal of the price hike in petroleum products. Demonstrators have handed over a memorandum to the corporation and demanded a reduction in the price of other commodities as the price of petroleum products are directly linked to the livelihood of the people.
Representatives of 16 organizations affiliated with the Communist Party of Nepal, Akhil Krantikari, All Nepal Landless Squatters Association, All Nepal People's Cultural Association, All Nepal Women's Association, Martyrs' Family Organization and others participated in the protest.
