The motorcycle rider died due to a collision with Bolero van carrying chickens, in the section of BP highway at Kamalamai Municipality-8, Karkare on the evening of November 23. The deceased has been identified as Tejendra Budha Magar originally from Baglung who is a policeman currently stationed at Parsa Police Office. Tejendra was riding a motorcycle with plate number Na 3 Pa 579 and travelling towards Sindhuli from Bardibas when the bike was hit by a Bolero Van Ba 2 Cha 9226 coming from the opposite direction.
The locals were agitated by the spot death of Magar, and protesting against his death they obstructed the highway and torched the Bolero van. The police are unable to open the highway until the evening of November 23, even after 3 hours of the incident.
