District Police Office, Rukum West arrested the absconding accused in the rape case.Police arrested Khadka Bahadur Pariyar, a 19-year-old resident of Marikatte in Athabiskot Municipality-10 of Rukum West on November 24.

According to the police, he had raped a 24-year-old woman while she was sleeping alone at home on July 2. After the victim lodged a complaint with the police, the police continued their search. He was arrested four months later and further investigation into the incident has been started, said District Police Office Inspector Dekendra Sharma.
