Dissatisfied with the results of the Class 12 examination made public by the National Examination Board, the law students have been protesting at the board's office for a week now.
The students accused the board of giving them fewer marks and also alleged the examiner of being negligent. They have been demanding that their answer scripts be re-examined and that the time and financial cost be reduced. The students are worried that it will take a long time and they will be confused about their future as it is a mandatory rule to check the marks and integers first before re-checking the answer sheet. As it costs up to Rs 3,000 to re-examine a subject, they have demanded to reconsider it.
Law faculty classes were started in seven schools in Gandaki this year. About 200 students from seven schools participated in the examination. According to the student, the grade of the student who topped the exam has only got 'B Plus'.
