The office of Munakumari Khatri, the principal of Boharibot Secondary School in Udayapurgadhi Rural Municipality-6 was padlocked since October 23 (almost two months now) alleging her of financial irregularities along with the demands of her resignation. Educational and administrative work has come to a standstill as the lock has not been opened yet.

Ward Chairman Krishna Khatri said that a five-member investigation committee has been formed under the coordination of village education chief Bhattarai with the representation of the chairperson, ward chairperson and teachers and parents to investigate the allegations. As the report has been submitted to the ruralmunicipality, the lock will be opened by resolving the issue at the village executive committee meeting, said ward chairman Khatri.
