Relatives of murdered  Bhupendra Baduwal, a youth from Lamkichuha, Kailali staged a demonstration in front of Kailali District Court demanding immediate arrest of the absconding accused involved in the murder. The relatives of Baduwal have protested by blocking the gate of the court. They protested with the slogan "Take action against the killers, don't kill people, don't sell the court".

Bhupendra Baduwal of Lamki was killed near Siddhartha Hotel in Tikapur Municipality-1 on November 9. So far, nine people arrested in the case of Baduwal's murder have been sent to jail. Three others have been released on bail while nine accused are absconding. Police said that the search for the fugitives was underway.
